IT HAPPENS Just a week after her 14th birthday in May 2001, she was diagnosed with Ovarian Cancer.  After two operations, four three day chemotherapy sessions, a massive pulmonary embolism, kidney failure, eight days on a breathing machine, a giant 15.4 lb tumor was removed. Naree had gone through a lot in a short space of time, but she fought back and launched herself into a successful career as a singer/songwriter of some rare talent.  She has recovered from her ordeal by a combination of fitness and sports activities combined with a ruthlessly positive and optimistic approach to life.
